Just A Little Thank You!
January 20, 2010 · 2 Comments
Also, I’d just really like to thank everyone for being supportive of my whole ‘Audition for Glee’ thing. You’re all just so nice, and if I ever do get famous, I’ll be sure to advertise the hell out of all your blogs!!! Lol… Seriously, though. You guys are amazing, and I’m so lucky to have you all. No one else I know has any clue about the Glee thing. No one. And to anyone else out there who is thinking about auditioning, do it, and I hope we all make it!! I was watching the video blogs on the extra stuff on the first part of season one on dvd, and it just looks so fun, and so tight knit… i miss having that kind of closeness. I have tried and failed to be friends with my family, and my friends aren’t close enough to be considered family… Actually, I don’t think I’ve felt that kind of closeness since I was in cheerleading. Like a family away from family, but more fun, and less likely to judge you, you know? Whatever. I’m rambling. As always. You’d think a 16 almost 17 year old would be able to stay up later then, say… 10pm? But sadly, tis not the case. Ah, me.

The Honest Award… YAY!!!!
January 20, 2010 · 2 Comments
First. Blog. Award. Ever. I never win anything, minus a couple science fairs in middle school, and a $4 lotto ticket, that i couldn’t even go cash. So, what i’ve inferred is proper ettiquette for these types of things is to list ten true things about yourself, and then ten blogs you think should get recognized? something to that extent. Here goes.
1. I honestly think that if I was brave enough, I could make it in the music world. I really do.
2. Even though it’s been a whole year, I get a little tingle everytime I see I have a new comment.
3. I’ve never kissed a boy. Or a girl, for that matter.
4. I hate teenagers. And yes, I do know that I am one. But i am one of about… 24 normal, human teenagers.
5. I had to think about what number came after four just now.
6. My aunt is going to be super late for work, and though I have the power to wake her up so she isn’t, I’ll probably make my sister do it.
7. I made my sister do it.
8. I like to read histroy books. Especially ones around the 1800s to early 1900s.
9. No matter what instance you give me, I’ll always find a way to get with Johnny Depp. This is a repeatedly proved fact.
10. I use my t.v. as my mirror, so i don’t have to keep my make up and stuff in the bathroom, where my sister can will use it, and ruin it.
And now the blogs I find worthy of my precious, precious time. (all of which can be found in my blogroll, because I’m too lazy to actually link to them.(((((((( )
1. Willabe’s Blog- Easily one of my favorite blogs.
2. Cocoa’s Weblog- don’t have as much access to it as I did before she changed the web adress, but still a very entertaining read.
3. … How’s this? you just go ahead and add all of the blogs on my blogroll to your blogroll! Except the unhappy camper’s blog, unless you’re up for lots of depression.
And, the part we’ve all been waiting for… the Nomination!!!
I……………………………………………………………………………………… nominate………………………………………………………………………………………………… Cocoa’s Weblog!
but, since i can’t tell her this, could someone maybe tell her, so she… you know. Knows? thanks!!!

Glee Auditions
January 17, 2010 · 7 Comments
Is anyone going to brave auditioning for season 2 of Glee? Because I think I might, but I’m really, REALLY nervous. Luckily, it’s not a face-to-face audition, though. I like acting, though, and i love singing with all my heart. and the worst they could do is ignore my video, right? Not like American Idol, where they verbally reject you. You can’t exactly rationalize that maybe they just lost the video or something if you do it face-to-face, you know. Even if i do gather up enough guts, though, there is no way in HELL i’m telling my family. i haven’t even told them i’m auditioning for my school’s musical this year!! My family’s either super, overwhelmingly supportive, or super, painfully UNsupportive. usually the latter. but i follow the show religiously, and i have both the cds, and the first part of the first season on dvd. if i do audition, i’ll probably do ‘One Day I’ll Fly Away’ from moulin rouge, since no one on any of the forums and blogs has even mentioned it, and it’s not on any ‘don’t do’ lists. it’s also my favorite musical ever. or maybe ‘If I Fell’, from across the universe. in the end it’ll probably come down to acoin toss. heads i sing for school musical, tails i sing for glee audition. IF i audition. Any thoughts?

Return of Me
January 13, 2010 · 11 Comments
Hey, all. I’m back, after a fairly uneventful holiday break. as per tradition, the events that i managed to remember from the break have been deemed important enough to blog about.
1. applied for two jobs; one at Bookman’s, the other at KFC.
2. got a call from a book publishing company.
3. succumbed to the beast that is Twitter.
4. got invited to a tour of Grand Canyon University’s campus.
5. saw District 9. shall never bite my nails again. ever.
6. saw 9. loved it.
7. decided that Elijah Wood is too cute to have facial hair.
That pretty much sums up my winter holidays. i’m also thinking about auditioning for our school’s musical. If i can find the guts to, that is.

Emo Weekend
December 7, 2009 · 1 Comment
You know how I was all excited about the drama lock in at my school? Well, I severely underestimated how depressing the night would end. it started out fine, just playing a few get to know each other games, snacking, and having a good time. Should have known something was up right then. After the part of the night where we did skits, we all made a circle on the stage and closed the curtains, just the kids, no teachers or chaperones. the drama club officers would then stand one at a time, read a statement, and if you think it applied to you, you had to stand, too. at first it was fairly tame stuff. Like, Are you in a drama class? but after about five questions, it took an immediate turn for the worse. questions about abuse, and using sexuality for personal gain started popping up. Afterwards, almost everyone was in tears, and the few who weren’t were comforting the crying people. kids admitted to attempting suicide, and abusing drugs and alcohol, and stuff. all the little boxes of emotional shit you keep locked away inside you ripped open for everyone to see. i learned things about my friends that i never would have guessed, otherwise. And they learned things i never wanted anyone to learn about me.

My Weekend
December 4, 2009 · 1 Comment
Well, you know how last weekend was SO boring? not the case this weekend. Tonight I’m going to my school’s drama lock in, which goes from 9pm on friday to 7am on saturday, then i get to babysit my sister and her friend, and i also have to get my house ready for christmas, which involves an assload of cleaning. On top of this fun filled weekend, i’m sick, and would like nothing better then to hide out in my room, surrounded by tissue, pain meds, soup, and movies. because sucking snot back into your nose because the schools have a shortage of tissue is not as sexy as one might think. the holidays are fun and all, and i love having things to do over the weekend, but the timing is just shit. So how ’bout you? what’s going on in your lives? Nothing, obviously, or you wouldn’t be reading this blog. heh…

What i Aspire For (To? I don’t know. not an english teacher.)

Is it really so wrong that i want to be a nanny? That instead of putting myself through years of boring colleges, and student loans, and things like that, I want to use my talents in my favor? I can’t do math well. I’m not interested in history or science enough o pursue anything in those fields. i can write, i can sing, and i can take care of kids. Kids love me, and i love them. i can get them to do the things i want them to, without a full out screaming match. Ive been able to make a bottle single handedly since i was eight. I know the signs of teething, colic, dirty diaper, sleepiness, hunger… Plus i can clean, and cook, and run errands and stuff, so… And i know it won’t be all perfect, like in mary poppins, but i also know it won’t be as bad as in the nanny diaries. it’d be fun, it’d be hard, and i’d love it. it’s my dream job, and i don’t care what anyone has to say about it.
